Medical and Biological Video Production in Geelong
November 16, 2016It’s fair to say in this line of work, the variety and styles of work on offer are endless. And that’s one of the things we love about video production. No two weeks are the same.
One week you may find us working in a corporate environment, where we will often learn little tricks and tips on running our business smarter, something that is always appreciated! Then another week we might be enjoying the great outdoors; filming in beautiful locations and covering sporting events, whether it be on the water chasing boats, or hooning after bicycles or motorbikes on the track (which we secretly enjoy). From musicians and concerts, to factories and machinery, the variety of video production is limitless.
Seriously…? Limitless…? Well… yes! And here ‘s a great example…
Recently, a classic example of our ever expanding variety of work, came to us on behalf of The Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources (DEDJTR), a part of the Victorian State Government.
And this job was nothing like the ones mentioned above. This time around, just to throw something else in our video production mix, we were to do a video of a calf autopsy. Yes, you read that right!
On the back of our work producing The Very Fast Break with Agriculture Victoria, DEDJTR’s Dr Ian Jerret contacted The Tribe, asking if we could shoot the autopsy of the calf and then edit it into roughly a ten minute sequence, which would then be distributed to vets for educational purposes.
Some time ago, Dr Ian discovered a disease in calves which had never been seen before, so he is now educating other vets from around the world about this disease, on how to spot it and how to treat it; while also researching further its causes and any solution that can be found.
It certainly was an experience, the likes of which we hadn’t had for quite some time, or ever really! But thankfully the shoot went off without a hitch, and with out the need for a bucket!
This is just another great example of our skills, being able to work in with the expertise with other professions, to come out with a product that helps assist them in reaching their goals, which is often to educate or to communicate, which are normally the two basic reasons for people using our services.
We were really happy to do the job with DEDJTR and if you’re looking for bio video production, we can certainly assist you with that and we’d be more than happy to hear from you, so give us a buzz and find out more.
